Remember when summers were all about adventure? As kids we had time to roam the neighborhood, ride bikes, explore. Vacations were about trying new things, taking risks, and falling asleep exhausted from the efforts! What adventures have you had this summer?
Adventures require participation. My adventure required weeks of preparation, financial commitment, and stepping on the airplane! We cannot have an adventure vicariously or just by “watching.” We have to experience it.
God has some great adventures in store for each of us and for our church. Are you ready? Are you willing to participate? I hope so!
